Main target of the Regional Cross-border Labor Center:

• Short-term target – increasing the employment and restriction of the unemployment by implementation of active measures in partnership of local and Greek partnership organizations.
• Long-term target – increasing the economic activity and labor potential of the popularity of the border region.

Main functions of the new formed center:

• Jointly, with local and foreign (Greek) organizations on the labor market, maintain mutual data basis for the registration of the free labor jobs and for the people who are in active search for jobs.
• Services for the people actively searching a job:
• • Information for reported free jobs;
  • Information for programs and measures for employment and education;
  • Mediation in the process of informing and hiring to work;
  • Professional information, consulting and orientation;
  • Qualification organization and motivation training;
  • Enlist in programs and measures for employment.
• Services for the employers:
• • Information for the people actively searching a job;
  • Information for programs and measures to maintain and encourage employment;
  • Mediation to hire workers;
  • Enlisting in programs and employment measures;
  • Preferences and bonuses if employment is kept or increased.
• Mediation activities for employment of Bulgarian citizens in Greece and settlement of Greek experts in Bulgaria;
• Participation in the elaboration and realization of programs and employment measures and education targeted towards specific groups of the unemployed people who by different reasons are difficulty adaptable to the labor market;
• Implementation, independently or in co-operation with other executive bodies or organizations of projects and programs in the area of labor, professional education and qualification, social integration, financed by the EU funds or from other international organizations (in this respect having also Bulgarian resource participation).

Main target of the center:

Achieve and maintain high standard in the quality of the offered mediation services by:

• Applying an individual approach for each person searching for a job and active offer of mediation services to the employers;
• Implementation of systematic contacts with the employers (Bulgarian and foreign) and development of activation approach to them for the opening of free jobs and practices;
• Continuation of the individual work with the unemployed when consulting, psychological help and orientation towards for the appropriate programs and measures for active policy;
• Elaboration of individual plan for operation for each unemployed person including his involvement in the measures and programs for employment and other actions to find him a job.
